Dr. Buchalter did a hip revision replacement on my 76-year partner in March 2024. My partner Jerry had been in severe hip pain which greatly affected his mobility for over 2 years. Before we found Dr. Buchalter, we had gone to several orthopedic doctors who misdiagnosed the problem, most claimed the pain was from his spine, which caused him to undergo unnecessary spinal surgery. Dr. Buchalter did a thorough exam and ordered a special MRI at the Hospital for Special Surgery, which no other doctor had done to make an accurate diagnosis before proceeding. Once all the testing was completed, he then requested that I obtain Jerry's prior medical records from his initial hip replacement. Thanks to Dr. Buchalter, Jerry's hip revision surgery went well. His mobility has returned and we no longer have to use a wheelchair. He now uses his walker and will probably be using a cane soon. In short, Dr. Buchalter exhibits compassion and gives one the impression that he truly cares. He is easy to talk to, and more importantly, he listens!, which is rare. Although his office is about 90 minutes away from where I live, I would not see any other orthopedic as he is the best in my opinion.

Without a doubt, one of the best medical practices I've been to. All staff are professional, helpful and always smiling. I've had several joints replaced with a couple more to go and I wouldn't go to anybody but Dr. Buchalter. He and his staff give you their undivided attention when speaking with you.
